There are several Star Wars video games coming up. Here’s what they are.

The future of Star Wars gaming is packed with projects spanning racing, RPGs, action-adventure and remakes. With Star Wars Zero Company having just launched on August 27, here are the major still-upcoming games officially announced or confirmed to be in development.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer

Developed by Fuse Games, Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a high-speed racing game set after the fall of the Empire. Players enter the Galactic League, an illegal Outer Rim racing circuit featuring podracers, landspeeders, speeder bikes and skim speeders.
The game features a runs-based single-player campaign alongside competitive multiplayer, with races taking place across locations including Tatooine, Jakku and Ando Prime. It launches October 6 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic

Fate of the Old Republic is a new single-player action RPG from Arcanaut Studios, led by former Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect director Casey Hudson.
Set near the end of the Old Republic era, players take control of a Force user in an original story where choices can push their journey toward the light or dark side. It was announced at The Game Awards 2025 and currently has no release date.
Star Wars Eclipse

Quantic Dream’s long-awaited Star Wars Eclipse remains in development after being revealed back in 2021.
Set during the High Republic, the action-adventure game follows multiple playable characters whose stories intersect. Player decisions can alter relationships, locations, conflicts and even whether individual characters survive. Quantic Dream reiterated in 2025 that development was continuing, but the game still has no release date.
Star Wars Jedi 3

Respawn Entertainment is developing a third Star Wars Jedi game, which is expected to conclude Cal Kestis’ story following Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor.
The project remains without an official title or release date.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake

The KOTOR remake remains in development at Saber Interactive.
Originally announced in 2021 under Aspyr, development later shifted to Saber. Despite years of uncertainty surrounding the project, Saber has continued to maintain that the remake is alive, most recently in March saying the game is still being made. No release window has been announced.
Amy Hennig’s Untitled Star Wars Game

Skydance New Media and Lucasfilm Games are developing an original Star Wars action-adventure game led by Amy Hennig, best known for her work on Uncharted.
The project was announced in 2022 and is described as a richly cinematic action-adventure featuring an original story. A title, setting, platforms and release window have yet to be revealed.
Current slate: Galactic Racer, Fate of the Old Republic, Star Wars Eclipse, Star Wars Jedi 3, the KOTOR remake and Amy Hennig’s untitled Skydance project.
