Apple has agreed to pay $250M to settle a class-action lawsuit. Here’s how you can make money from it.

Apple has agreed to pay $250M over allegations that the company failed to timely deliver certain Siri and Apple Intelligence features advertised for newer iPhones.
The official settlement website is now accepting claims, and eligible iPhone owners in the United States could receive up to $95 per qualifying device.
Apple denies the allegations and the settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing.
Who is eligible for the Apple Siri settlement?
You may qualify if you live in the United States and purchased one of the following iPhones in the U.S. between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025:
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 16
- iPhone 16e
- iPhone 16 Plus
- iPhone 16 Pro
- iPhone 16 Pro Max
The device must have been purchased for a purpose other than resale.
Claimants must also confirm that when they purchased the eligible iPhone, they expected to receive certain Siri Apple Intelligence features that they did not receive.
You can file a claim here.
How much money can you receive?
The settlement provides a presumptive payment of $25 for each eligible device.
However, the final payment can be adjusted depending on factors including the number of valid claims and eligible devices claimed, as well as court-approved fees and settlement administration costs.
Payments can reach a maximum of $95 per eligible device. The final amount won’t be known until claims have been processed.
How to file a claim
Eligible iPhone owners can visit the official Smartphone AI Settlement website and complete the online Claim Form.

The form requires current contact information and information sufficient to confirm the purchase or ownership of the eligible iPhone.
Some eligible customers are also receiving settlement notices containing a Claim ID and PIN. A claim can still be submitted if you believe you qualify even if you haven’t received a notice.
Claimants can choose to receive their eventual payment by physical check or digital check.
When is the deadline?
Claims must be submitted by December 21, 2026.
Filing a valid claim is required to receive money from the settlement. Eligible class members who do nothing will not receive a payment.
When will payments be sent?
Payments aren’t expected immediately.
A final approval hearing is scheduled for February 24, 2027. If the court approves the settlement, payments will be processed afterward, although appeals could delay distribution.
Why did Apple agree to the settlement?
The lawsuit, Landsheft, et al. v. Apple Inc., alleged that purchasers of certain iPhone models were harmed by Apple’s alleged failure to timely deliver Siri and Apple Intelligence features.
Apple denies that it did anything improper or unlawful. Rather than proceed through further litigation, Apple and the plaintiffs agreed to the proposed $250M settlement. You can file a claim here.
